The Dawn Directive™A CIAI program

AI fluency, certified across a year. Calibrated by vertical.

CIAI’s flagship AI fluency and literacy certification — a 12-month, 360-hour, 18-course program delivered through ArthurAI™ VLE. Operated by the California Institute of Artificial Intelligence (CIAI), a subsidiary of MindHYVE.ai, Inc. that designs and delivers AI fluency programs across regulated verticals — healthcare, law, accounting, education, and others — as vertically-calibrated cohorts. CIAI licenses ArthurAI™ VLE as the delivery platform for The Dawn Directive™.

The program at a glance

A 12-month cohort. 18 courses. 360 hours.

Duration
12 months

Structured as a single annual cohort — long enough to change practice, not so long that momentum drifts.

Courses
18

Eighteen named courses, sequenced from foundational AI literacy through applied-practice modules calibrated to the cohort’s vertical.

Cumulative hours
360

Three hundred and sixty hours of structured learning, practice, and assessment — a serious credential, not a workshop.

The Dawn Directive™ is a 12-month, 360-hour, 18-course AI fluency credential operated by CIAI and delivered through ArthurAI™ VLE. Institutional partners adopting ArthurAI™ VLE can optionally enroll cohorts in Dawn Directive™ as a parallel credentialing programme — but Dawn Directive™ and ArthurAI™ remain distinct products with distinct ownership and standing.

Five verticals, one architecture

Same program. Five different vertical cohorts.

AI fluency is not a generic discipline. A clinician needs a different set of working judgements than an attorney. An accountant needs a different controls posture than an educator. The Dawn Directive™ runs as a single architecture with a vertical-specific calibration — the dimensions are invariant, the cases and exercises and assessment scenarios are not.

  • Workforce

AI fluency for institutional workforces — public-sector, manufacturing, services. The native vertical for ArthurAI™ VLE.

Anchor: Development Authority of LaGrange (Georgia)

  • Healthcare

AI fluency for clinicians, administrators, and allied health staff. Calibrated to clinical workflows and HIPAA-aligned data discipline.

    Anchor: Kadisco General Hospital (Ethiopia)

  • Law

AI fluency for legal practitioners — practice operations, document discipline, evidence-grounded reasoning.

    Anchor: (rolling enrollment)

  • Accounting

AI fluency for finance and accounting professionals — controls posture, audit-readiness, advisory workflow.

    Anchor: (rolling enrollment)

  • Education

AI fluency for educators, faculty, and instructional leaders. Often delivered alongside an institution’s ArthurAI™ SLE or ULE deployment.

Anchor: IUCEA member universities (170+ across East Africa)

The subsidiary, the partner, the customer

The California Institute of Artificial Intelligence.

CIAI is a subsidiary of MindHYVE.ai, Inc., a strategic partner, and a paying customer of ArthurAI VLE. That trio matters. CIAI is family — and CIAI is also independently standing, with its own product portfolio and its own credential brand. They chose to license the ArthurAI VLE platform at market rate to deliver The Dawn Directive.

The trademark The Dawn Directive™ belongs to CIAI. It is not a MindHYVE mark. The Dawn Directive is CIAI's program, with CIAI's institutional standing. ArthurAI VLE is the delivery platform — one of multiple verticals across which CIAI runs AI-fluency programmes for institutional partners.

The separation is deliberate and durable. The credential carries CIAI's reputational backing — not the platform vendor's. The institutional purchaser of an ArthurAI deployment is not also renting a credential brand; they may also engage CIAI on Dawn Directive as a separate, optional, parallel agreement with a separate counterparty whose standing is its own.

Bring it to your institution

Deploy ArthurAI. Run a Dawn Directive™ cohort alongside it.

The institutional buyer who wants their workforce actually fluent in AI — not just licensed to use it — adopts both. The platform powers the day-to-day. The credential signals that the deployment is serious.
